MARSHA GORDON AND LOUIS CHERRY

Louis Cherry is an architect who has taught a course on "Experiencing Architecture" in Prague for North Carolina State University. He has designed numerous buildings in the triangle, including the Cameron Village Library, the Unitarian Universalist Church on Wade Avenue, Ashley Christensen's restaurants Joule and Death and Taxes. Before becoming an architect Cherry studied printmaking and photography; he is also a practicing artist.

Dr. Marsha Gordon, who has twice taught film classes in Prague, is an associate professor of Film Studies at North Carolina State University. She has a monthly radio show, "Movies on the Radio," with Frank Stasio and Laura Boyes which airs on WUNC's "The State of Things."

Marsha and Louis are both serious about good food and wine. In fact, Louis was the co-owner of Enoteca Vin, a wine focused restaurant in Raleigh, NC, which was open on Glenwood Avenue until 2009, and in whose kitchen both Andrea Reusing and Ashley Christensen had their first jobs as head chefs.
